My Hiding Place

You are my hiding place

nowhere better than your side

Your shelter is the space

I desire to reside.

A rock that covers me

From wind and sun and trial

A refuge in the sea,

never cold with denial

My soul will rest within You;

Redeemer of the lost.

Mighty fortress, not bamboo

Your presence won’t exhaust.
