In My Doubt

In my doubt,

I gather empty shells.

Put my ear up to the gap,

Waiting for a sound.

Woosh

Woosh

Woosh

In my doubt

I stare at distant stars.

Fix my eyes upon the heavens,

Waiting for a glimpse.

Flicker

Flicker

Flicker

In my doubt

I pace frozen pavement

Give my body to the air,

Waiting for a feeling.

Prickle

Prickle

Prickle

But you are not captured by the sea.

You are not limited by the sky.

You are not stuck within my walls.

You are bigger than my beckon call.

So I will wait, in my doubt

For Mighty Hands

To sort this out...
